Georgians, we are waiting for you in a united Europe, because you have been a part of its heritage for centuries, said today Polish President during Independence Day official ceremony at Freedom square.

“We are waiting for you in NATO, because you are a proud nation that deserves freedom, security and prosperity.

There is enough space for friends, including Georgia in NATO and the European Union and that Poland is Georgia’s reliable ally which makes every effort to support Georgia and its aspirations for Euro-Atlantic integration.

We urge you to be persistent on the path of reforms, as well as to maintain European standards in building political unity and respecting political dialogue. EU countries must remember that Georgia is part of European civilizatio.

Freedom, independence, democracy, respect and solidarity are the principles that underpin the relations of Georgia and Poland”, - said Andrzej Duda.
