The Zestaponi District Court shared the evidence presented by the Prosecutor’s office and found F.A., accused of systematically abusing a family member in the presence of a minor and leading him to suicide, guilty.

“As a result of the investigation, the evidence examined by the prosecution at the trial confirmed that in the village of Dzevri, Terjola district, F.A. in the presence of a minor child, A.A., systematically abused wife N.A.

F.A., who was under the influence of alcohol, mistreated minor A.A., systematically abused, humiliated, threatened, banned him from being with relatives. Because of the severe mental pain and moral suffering caused by the above, A.A. committed suicide on August 23, 2020.

An 11-year-old boy was found dead on August 23, 2020, in Dzevri. On August 24, a father was arrested on charges of leading his son to suicide. He was sentenced to imprisonment by the Terjola court as a measure of restraint”, - reads the statement.
