“As part of its competence, the NCDC is constantly monitoring the spread of SARS-CoV-2 variants in Georgia. The Indian variant has been detected among 5 tourists and all of them have already been isolated.

They entered Georgia on different dates, from the same country, but are citizens of different countries. 3 of them have already left Georgia. According to the epidemiological data, their clinical condition is satisfactory”, - reads the statement of the NCDC.
