The Human Rights and Civil Integration Committee discussed the Bill on Weapon aiming at the restriction of the circulation of the weapon.

A new Article is introduced to the Law regulating the rule of the wearing and transportation of gas and acoustic weapon.

The Bill admits the wearing of the gas weapon as a self-defense man, though bans the visual wearing or demonstrating in a public area.

“The use of the acoustic weapon shall be admitted only in theatrical shows, film or TV series, historical reconstructions, parades and sports events as it is not purposed for the self-defense and cannot be worn by a natural person”, - the initiator, Irakli Beraia stated.

The Bill will be also discussed by the Defense and Security Committee.
