Mariam Kapanadze, an actress of the Hand Shadows State Theatre Abkhazeti, was awarded the Japanese Foreign Minister’s Award for her animated film “Abandoned Village” at the New Chitose Animation Festival.
Official Ceremony of Award Passing was held at the Ambassador’s Residence. H.E. Ambassador of Japan, Mr. Imamura Akira officially presented award to Mariam Kapanadze.
Minister of Culture, Sports and Youth of Georgia, Ms. Tea Tsulukiani also attended Award Passing Ceremony and personally congratulated Mariam Kapanadze and Gela Kandelaki, artistic producer.
