Former Minister of Education of Georgia Gucha Kvaratskhelia has died, reads the information, released by the Tbilisi State University.

“She was an exemplary person. Her work in Georgian science is invaluable - in the teaching and learning of the native language, in developing the modern Georgian language in general. She created a number of important scientific papers for the next generation.

Gucha Kvaratskhelia’s work at TSU Arnold Chikobava Institute of Linguistics was especially fruitful. Her long and fruitful pedagogical activity at TSU is also appreciated. Many students continue to walk the path she has successfully traced.
