Fire extinguished in Vashlovani Protected Areas

The fire got extinguished in Vashlovani Protected Areas. According to the Agency of Protected Areas, 25 local rangers, an Emergency Management Team, and a helicopter were mobilized to put out the fire.

The fire burned several dozen juniper and sage trees on about 7 hectares of the Vashlovani Protected Areas.

Yesterday, on June 30, a fire broke out on a large shadow ridge, presumably because of a thunderstorm.
