Due to the high public interest, the Ministry of Internal Affairs publishes video materials of Lekso Lashkarava’s movement, obtained at this stage of investigation and have already been attached to the criminal case as evidence.

“In the course of Investigation the route has been established as a result of studying the external video surveillance systems, which was confirmed by witness testimonies.

Aleksandre Lashkarava, the operator of “TV Pirveli”, leaves his residential address by moped on July 10, at 15:28 pm.

At 15:31 he enters one of the drug stores on Bakhtrioni Street. After leaving the venue, he starts moving in the direction of Ponichala settlement, where he is depicted with a friend at 16:31.

Afterwards he leaves Ponichala and moves to the direction of Ortachala and later on, returns to Ponichala at 19:41. From Ponichala he moves to the "Deda Ena Garden", where he spent some period of time, and at 00:10 he returns to the residential address located on Saburtalo, presumably in an unsober condition.

The video footage of his return is also depicted by the external video surveillance systems located near the residential building.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs continues active investigative and procedural activities. The interrogation of all persons related to the case and examination of the technical means that may contain the information necessary for the investigation will continue.

The results of the forensic- medical examination are crucially important for the investigation in order to establish the objective truth of the incident. The MIA will gradually provide comprehensive information to the public regarding the details of the ongoing investigation”, - reads the statement of the MIA .
