Accused Davit Kutaladze was sentenced to imprisonment as a measure of restraint for group violence against Lekso Lashkarava.

The Prosecutor’s office demanded the use of imprisonment as a measure of restraint, while the defense claimed that none of the measures of restraint should have been used against the detainee.

The detainee disagrees with the accusation and states that he did not commit any crime.

The next court hearing is scheduled for September 2 at 14:00 p.m.

Davit Kutaladze was charged under for “unlawful interference with a journalist’s professional activities, committed by threat of violence”, “persecution related to professional activity, committed using violence” and “participation in group violence”.
