Person accused of raping 26-year-old Kazakh woman dies at hospital

Besik Tordua, accused of raping 26-yar-old Kazakh citizen Aisel Aitpaeva, died at the clinic.

As his lawyer Lasha Shukakidze said, the accused was taken from the penitentiary institution to the Viva Med clinic a week ago. What became the exact cause of death, the lawyer added, is unknown.

The 26-year-old Kazakh woman committed suicide on May 5. Besik Tordua was detained in connection with the incident and charged under Article 137 pertaining to rape, which resulted in a serious result and led to suicide.
