It is planned to start more active vaccination in the villages with the involvement of rural family doctors. Such a statement made today the Deputy Minister of Health.
“An educational campaign on vaccination has been launched and this process is ongoing. Work is underway both in educational settings and individually with high-risk groups.
Of course, more activity is needed. An information campaign alone is not enough. What works best is the sharing of own example - to demonstrate the importance of vaccination.
In order to expand vaccination, it is planned to create more vaccination centers in big cities and districts. It is also planned to start the vaccination process in the villages, with the involvement of family doctors”, - said Tamar Gabunia.
