If the increase in new cases continues, we will present strict restrictions. Such a statement made today the Head of the National Center for Disease Control.

“There will be special strictness for any kind of gathering - be it a wedding, a party, a festival or something else. This task has been given to the relevant authorities and enforcement will definitely be tightened.

We also suggested that people be allowed to attend all kinds of gatherings with only double vaccination or PCR or a negative rapid test result.

If this and some of our proposals are not enforced accordingly, then we will have initiatives to introduce serious restrictions. Today, we have grounds to tighten the measures as much as possible”, - said Amiran Gamkrelidze.
