Georgia Hepatitis C Elimination team received high-level recognition award from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

“Congratulations to the Georgia Hepatitis C Elimination team who received high-level recognition - the Excellence in Partnering Award - from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). CDC Director, Dr. Walensky recognized the incredible work of the Hepatitis C Elimination Program, which, in partnership with the Georgian Ministry of Health, has cured over 52,000 patients since 2015”, - reads the statement of the Embassy.
