Prime Minister of Georgia visited a newly-built public school in Kokhta Village of Tsalka Municipality together with Kakha Kuchava, Chairman of the Parliament, Mikheil Chkhenkeli, Minister of Education, Irakli Karseladze, Minister of Regional Development and Infrastructure. The school is currently being refurbished with essential inventory.
Irakli Garibashvili personally observed the process achieved in the process of construction. He focused on the priority of increased access to education and highlighted the significance of development and advancement in the fields of education and science.
Building complying with modern standards is designed for 90 pupils. It has 9 classrooms and 1 lab. Yard of the school was arranged in line with the blueprints. Space heating, water supply and sewage systems were installed. School is fully adapted. Construction works will be completed on August 30 as scheduled. Total cost of the project initiative is 1 782 350 GEL.
New school in Kokhta village is intended for primary, basic and general tiers of education and pupils within these categories.
Children throughout Georgia will welcome the new academic year of 2021-2022 with 64 newly-built and 64 fully rehabilitated public schools.
The Prime Minister of Georgia was accompanied to the newly-built school today by Larry Barnabishvili, Department Head of Regional Coverage at the Government Administration and Shota Rekhviashvili, State Representative in Kvemo Kartli.
