Two very difficult weeks are coming, said the Medical Director of Iashvili Central Children’s Hospital.
“There is a very big risk that there will be no more free beds in the country. That’s why the public should be very careful and follow the regulations.
Out of 7 000 beds, free 500 beds mean that the medical system is on the verge of collapse. It is hard to say how long a critical situation like this will last. Two weeks is the minimum time when any strict epidemiological measure, any strict ban, will yield results.
We have a tough two weeks ahead of us, and we all need to understand the dangers the country is facing”, - explained Ivane Chkhaidze.
