Defense Forces involved in ensuring effective implementation of vaccination

In the fight against coronavirus, Georgia’s Defense Forces engaged in ensuring the effective implementation of vaccination, with the relevant decree recently issued by Georgian Prime Minister.

According to the Ministry of Defense, in order to implement the above-mentioned decision, the agency has already allocated certain resources to support the process of fighting the pandemic.

At this stage, the Ministry of Health has received hundreds of beds from the Ministry of Defense, which are located in two locations - Digomi and Samgori.

Besides, the Ministry of Defense expresses its readiness, if necessary, to manufacture up to a 1 000 additional beds every month at Delta base and transfer them to the Ministry of Health.
