The state’s approach to smaller schools is commendable, because those are not just educational institutions, but also rural cultural and educational hubs, Georgian Prime Minister said at the new school of the village of Khabume, Chkhorotsku Municipality.
Irakli Garibashvili familiarized himself with the school’s facilities and acknowledged his visit in the guestbook.
For his visit to the school, he was accompanied by Parliament Speaker Kakha Kuchava, Minister of Education and Science Mikheil Chkhenkeli, and Minister of Regional Development and Infrastructure Irakli Karseladze.
According to Chkhenkeli, the Khabume community’s public school is meeting the new academic year in September 2021 with a new building complying with modern standards.
The new building of the Khabume community’s public school #3 can accommodate 60 students. The building incorporates 8 classrooms, a laboratory, a library, a computer lab, a cafeteria, a doctor’s office, a staffroom, and restrooms.
