Almost 500 service members have received housing in Military Town, in Varketili. These are so-called white frame apartments, and their allocation was decided randomly. The residential building"s premises will be furbished in near future, and wheelchair ramps will be built for persons with limited abilities.

The pledge to provide housing for those who have completed their contractual term of service was assumed by the Defense Ministry in 2007.

This pledge has been fulfilled in stages since 2013, in which period 1,562 families have become apartment owners. By handing said apartments over to almost 500 contract-based service members, the Defense Ministry is fulfilling its duty, in its entirety, assumed under the 2007 agreement.
