The hotline had been activated since the arrest, information was provided to the EUMM in Georgia, as well as the Co-Chairs of the Geneva International Discussions, and all available levers were applied to release the illegally detained US citizen and transfer him to the territory controlled by the central government of Georgia in a timely manner.
