A 33-year-old Rafael Mursakulov, accused of killing Shanae Brooke, will be officially charged today.

According to his lawyer, Sophio Goglichidze, his client is still exercising his right to remain silent and does not plead guilty.

“He does not admit the facts he is arrested for; he exercises the right of silence, he has had no contact with the dead woman. He has never even seen her”, - said lawyer.

On July 31, Shanae Brooke was found murdered in Tbilisi. The MIA detained one person on charges of the Australian citizen"s premeditated murder.
