National Statistics Office of Georgia presented a new product – “Tax Calculator”. At the event, which was held at the Tech Park Georgia, the Executive Director of Geostat spoke about the importance of the new product. According to Mr. Gogita Todradze, the Tax Calculator allows statistical information users to see what part of the income is paid by an individual in the form of indirect taxes, when purchasing various goods or services and how these funds are distributed in the budget expenditures.

The Tax Calculator covers the income tax paid by an individual and the indirect taxes paid on the purchase of various goods or services, such as VAT and excise. The calculator has the informational purposes only and does not cover all taxes.
