Baby twins infected with COVID-19, who had been treated in the intensive care unit of the Beaumonde clinic in Kutaisi, have died.

“These kids were born with respiratory distress syndrome. Both of them were infected with coronavirus at birth and developed COVID pneumonia. The whole department was fighting for their lives 24 hours a day. However, unfortunately, we could not save them”, - explained Marina Baratashvili, head of the neonatal intensive care unit at Clinic Beaumonde.
