The registration for the first AstraZeneca dose had been suspended, the public can now register for the second vaccine dose only. Such a statement made today the Head of the National Center of Decease Control of Georgia.

“"Unfortunately, we have to end registration for the first dose of AstraZeneca temporarily. The demand is low, and the opportunity to register for its second dose will now be available. They should have donated it, but we failed to agree on timeframes. Let us now see if COVAX will provide us with extra doses”, - explained Amiran Gamkrelidze.
