3 people arrested in connection with the collapse of a building in Batumi were sentenced to imprisonment

Batumi City Court sentenced imprisonment to 3 people detained in connection with the collapse of the building in Batumi as a measure of restraint.

The court shared the motion of the prosecution seeking custody of the accused.

According to Prosecutor Alexander Dzirkvadze, there is evidence, testimonies from neighbors and an expert conclusion that the accused are guilty.

The lawyers do not agree with this decision and plan to appeal. The trial is set to begin on December 1.
