Due to the spread of the coronavirus, several educational institutions in Tbilisi and the regions were closed. Teachers and children tested positive for COVID-19.

Out of 186 public kindergartens in Tbilisi, 55 kindergartens have been closed due to coronavirus cases. They will resume their work after 12 days of quarantine.

Due to the deterioration of the epidemiological situation, some schools in the Kakheti region can move to online education process.
