The Ministry of Justice addresses the Minister of Health, Ekaterine Tikaradze, to allocate a multifunctional group of doctors to study and analyze the health condition of Mikheil Saakashvili.

“Our goal is for the public to have complete and objective information about the rights situation and health of Mikheil Saakashvili. We request Mikheil Sarjveladze, Chairman of the Parliamentary Committee on Human Rights and Civil Integration, and Dimitri Khundadze, Chairperson of the Committee on Health and Social Affairs, to monitor the protection of prisoner’s rights for greater transparency of the process.

We request cooperation from the Ombudsman Nino Lomjaria.

We also requested Minister of Health Ekaterine Tikaradze to set up a multifunctional group of doctors to study and analyze the health condition of the prisoner. The goal of the group of doctors will be to periodically monitor the health condition of Mikheil Saakashvili and, if necessary, to make relevant recommendations”, - reads the statement of the Justice Ministry.
