Nikoloz Basilashvili has released a message in support of incumbent Tbilisi mayor ahead of the municipal election runoff, wishing Kakha Kaladze success in the tightly contested mayor race.

The video message was posted on the Georgian Dream social media page.

In the address, Basilashvili calls Kaladze a “very professional and hard-working individual, a great person and a very honorable sportsman”.
