There is a proposal to open vaccination for all children aged 12-15. Such a statement made today the Head of the National Center for Disease Control.

“As for vaccination from the age of 12, a decision of the Scientific Committee has been prepared for the Immunization Council. Previously, if we only had vaccinations for children from 12 to 15 years with medical indications, today there is talk, and a proposal is being considered to open vaccinations for all children of this age with the consent and desire of the parents.

An immunization council will be held tomorrow or the day after tomorrow and will make an appropriate decision.

At this stage, 106 children in the 12-15 age category have been vaccinated”, - said Amiran Gamkrelidze.
