Prime Minister and municipality mayors discuss priorities for the future

Prime Minister of Georgia held a meeting with Mayors, winners of the recent municipal elections. Alongside with the mayors, the meeting at the Government Administration was attended by State Representatives.

Irakli Garibashvili once again congratulated the Mayors on winning the elections and discussed priorities for the future with them.

He promised the Mayors maximal support from the Central Government, so that the projects and initiatives brought up during election campaigns as important for the population may be implemented as rapidly as possible.

The Prime Minister reassured the elected Mayors of the Central Government’s commitment to engaging in solving any issue prioritized by the population.

Irakli Garibashvili also instructed the State Representatives to maintain active coordination with Mayors and urged the latter to remain in active communication with citizens, to be informed of all their needs and challenges and succeed in solving every problem of the population in a timely and effective manner.

Tsalenjikha Municipality Mayor Gia Kharchilava was also invited to the meeting with the Prime Minister.
