The officers of Patrol Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs detained G.T. (DoB 1999) as a result of operative-investigative and search operation.

The investigation established that on November 23 of the current year, G.T. broke into one of the branches of the Bank of Georgia, located on Ketevan Tsamebuli Avenue, for the purpose of armed robbery, but failed to accomplish his intention and attempted to flee the place of crime.

Patrol police officers, as a result of search operation, arrested him in the vicinity of the place of crime, several minutes later after the incident.

Investigation is in progress under Article 179 of the Criminal Code of Georgia, which stipulates armed robbery.
