Georgia becomes member of International Federation of Mountain Guides Associations

The Georgian Mountain Guides (GMGA) has officially become a member of International Federation of Mountain Guides Associations (IFMGA).

IFMGA unites up to 6,000 mountain guides in 22 countries worldwide.

Since now, the ones trained by Adventure Tourism School (ATS) will automatically become international IFMGA- certified mountain guides.

Georgia became a candidate member of the IFMGA in 2018. The ATS was established in Georgia on August 8, 2016 by the GMGA and the education ministry.
