10 streets of Tbilisi will be named after the fighters who died in the 2008 Russian-Georgian war. Such a statement made today Giorgi Tkemaladze, Chairman of the Tbilisi City Council, at the Mukhatgvedi brothers’ cemetery, where she laid a wreath at the memorial of the fallen heroes.

The mentioned persons are: Aleksandre Oniani, Giorgi Antsukhelidze, Levan Devdariani, Ilia Babutsidze, Giorgi Jojua, Levan Chochua, Koba Sergia, Giorgi Berikashvili, Anzor Geldiashvili, Natalia Samkanashvili.

The initiative was discussed at today’s session of the Tbilisi City Council, which was attended by the family members of the fallen fighters.
