Police arrested one person in Guria for premeditated murder against a family member

The employees of Guria Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, as a result of operative and investigative activities detained several times convicted in past I.T. (DoB 1984). For premeditated murder against a family member.

The committed crime envisions from 16 to 20 years or life imprisonment.

The investigation established that the accused person inflicted injuries to his former wife - Sh.Z. (DoB 1984) in Ozurgeti, with a sharp object, as a result of which the woman died on the spot.

Police arrested I.T. as an accused person. The weapon of crime was seized as evidence.

The investigation is being conducted under Article 109, sub-paragraph "k" of the Criminal Code of Georgia, which implies premeditated murder of a family member.
