The Parliament hosted the sitting of the Supervisory Board of the Insurance State Supervision Service presided by the Chair of the Budget and Finance Committee, Paata Kvizhinadze.

The Head of the Service, David Onoprishvili reported to the Board on the activity for 2022 and the progress for 5 months of 2023, and introduced scheduled activities and plans. The attendees touched upon the challenges in the insurance sector and discussed the solutions.

The meeting was attended by the Board members: Vice Prime Minister, Minister of Economics, Levan Davitashvili; Minister of Finance, Lasha Khutsishvili; Minister of Environmental Protection, Otar Shamugia; Minister of IDPs, Zurab Amarashvili; Business Association CEO, Levan Vepkhvadze; and the President of the Employers’ Association, Elguja Meladze; as well as the Head of the ISSS, David Onoprishivli and other officials of the Service.
