Health Ministry accepts applications for the treatment of oncological children abroad - what documents must be submitted by family members

Receipt of applications for state funding of treatment of children diagnosed with cancer in leading clinics abroad is underway.

The partner clinics of the program are Anadolu Medical Center of Türkiye, Quirónsalud Medical Center of Spain and Ichilov Medical Center of Israel. The package incorporated diagnostics and standard treatment regimen: chemotherapy, radiation therapy, surgical intervention, as well as proton therapy, based on patient’s needs.

Persons under 18, diagnosed with oncology are eligible for enrollment in the program. In order to participate, a parent or family representative should apply to the Reception of the Ministry of Health and make an application on the spot. Required actions/documents:

To fill out an application form (an applicant will receive a form for filling out and signing at the Ministry of Health).
Identification documents (birth certificate/passport) of a beneficiary and of an applicant.
Beneficiary’s health certificate (Form #100/a, with indication of relevant ICD-10 and/or NCSP codes, translated into English language and notarized).
Available results of diagnostic examinations (morphological examination, CT, etc) translated into English language and notarized.
Patients will be allocated to the clinics based on their individual needs, capacities of the clinic and family’s choice.
