Tbilisi City Hall is installing a protection grid at the Chabua Amirejibi road to protect the territory from stones sliding down the road. Such a statement made today Giorgi Abutidze, the Head of the Infrastructure Development Municipal Service.

“We observe safety norms on the territory. The road will be closed between 5 a.m. and 7 a.m., and once we start installing the grid, traffic will be completely restricted to one lane of the highway so that even if one small pebble falls, we stay protected.

The grid would replace an older one arranged in 2010. The specialists monitor other problematic spots across the city to perform similar works”, - explained Giorgi Abutidze.
