Emmy Awards 2015: Game of Thrones makes history by scooping the most awards for any series in one year.

The HBO hit beat Mad Men to the coveted Best Drama award, taking a total of 12 awards from 24 nominations.

Actor Peter Dinklage won outstanding supporting actor in a drama series and the show also picked up the prestigious outstanding drama series award.
