The helicopter of the Border Police of the Ministry of Internal Affairs will be involved in the search and rescue operation of the person trapped in the snow mass in Bakuriani.

According to the Emergency Management Service, firefighters and rescuers of the emergency management service of the MIA and representatives of relevant units are mobilized in Borjomi Municipality, where a mass of snow has fallen from the mountainside.

“One person was probably trapped in the avalanche, in whose search and rescue operation rescue drones and rescuers of the main division of response to special situations of the emergency management service are involved.

Also, in order to participate in the rescue operation, together with an additional rescue team, the helicopter of the Border Police of the Ministry of Internal Affairs has already flown from Tbilisi”, - says the agency.
