Damage caused by the disaster is being assessed in Kobuleti. According to preliminary reports, nearly thousand families are damaged. The central road , streets and ground floors of buildings are flooded. The infrastructure is damaged.

The disaster has created problems in several villages in the mountain regions, where the landslide occurred.

Residents are asking for assistance. According to them, this is not the first time when heavy rain causes flood. Locals ask to renew the drainage system.

According to the Chairman of the government of Autonomous Republic of Adjara, nearly 130 objects were affected and the commission  studies the problem.
