The Georgian national basketball team will face their Latvian counterparts at the Men’s Olympic Qualifying Tournament, with the competition running this week in Riga.

In connection with this event, Levan Zhorzholiani, the Head of the Administration of the Georgian government, made a statement encouraging public support for the team.

“Large screens have been installed at Liberty Square, providing an opportunity for everyone to come together and support the Georgian basketball team.

We are waiting for everyone, fans, our citizens from 20:00 at Liberty Square. Let’s support our basketball team together”, - said Levan Zhorzholiani.
