Prime Minister of Georgia meets UN Resident Coordinator

Irakli Kobakhidze, Prime Minister of Georgia met Didier Trebucq, newly-appointed UN Resident Coordinator in Georgia. The meeting was focused on the productive partnership between the Government of Georgia and Office of the UN Resident Coordinator, as well as on expressing readiness for future cooperation.

The Head of Government of Georgia highlighted the significance of efforts of the UN Resident Coordinator in supporting the country"s needs and national priorities, including the effective implementation of the 2030 Agenda and Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

The dignitaries also discussed the current situation regarding security and human rights on occupied territories of Georgia.
