I would like to congratulate Lasha Bekauri on Olympic championship, it was very exciting to watch this final, said today the Prime Minister of Georgia.

“A young man, a handsome man, from Kakheti, Kiziki, a very cool Georgian man became the Olympic champion today, which is an incredible success. I want to congratulate Lasha and each of you on this extraordinary victory. I would also like to mention that a few days ago Lasha Bekauri turned 24 years old, and at this age, two-time Olympic champion is something incredible. Once again, I congratulate him on this success.

I also want to congratulate Tato Grigalashvili once again on yesterday’s success. Olympic vice-championship. Tato took the first medal and this was also a very important factor for today’s success. Thanks to the boys, thanks for this extraordinary victory and the feeling of pride they gave us”, - said Irakli Kobakhidze.
