Georgian Tourism Administration hosts a filming crew from China Central Television [CCTV] to introduce them to tourist destinations in the country. The 7-person team from CCTV is set to produce a 5-part documentary series about Georgia, which will be broadcast throughout the year on the broadcaster, social networks, and online platforms.

The CCTV’s worldwide audience exceeded 1.2 billion. The series aim to showcase Georgia’s tourist products, culture, and wine to Chinese and English-speaking audiences. The documentaries will feature Tbilisi, Kakheti, Imereti, Samegrelo and Adjara.

“It is very impressive that we met here a lot of Chinese tourists during the 5-day filming period. I think our documentary series will further promote the arrival of more Chinese visitors to the country. I think many Chinese people will learn about Georgia after the broadcast”, - said Li-Huan Tsai, producer from CCTV.
