Each member of the Georgian Olympic team, regardless of whether they won a medal at the Paris Olympics, will receive a prize of GEL 50,000 in recognition of their contributions to the team’s overall success. Such a statement the Prime Minister of Georgia made during a ceremony honouring the Georgian Olympic delegation.

“To recognize their contributions, a GEL 50,000 bonus will be awarded to every team member who did not win a medal at the Olympics but contributed to the overall success.

Coaches, medical personnel, and other staff will also receive increased bonus wages”, - said Irakli Kobakhidze.
