Participants of the Paris Olympic and Paralympic Games were awarded by the President of Georgia with orders.

Salome Zourabichvili in her speech wished the athletes to appreciate, warn and preserve the love of the people on the way to life and the next victories.

“You have not only earned medals, awards and prizes, you have received much more precious, much more eternal, something that cannot be changed in anything and that is the love of people. May you be able to cherish and preserve this love in the path of your life and future victories.

In this most difficult period of our history, the country needs you, it needs future generations, young people who look at you with bright eyes and expect an example from you, an example of professionalism, dedication, attitude and determination.

I want to congratulate all of you with all my heart, congratulate the community gathered here on this great victory, this great joy, this great love”, - said the President.
