The research is dedicted to the increasing number of anti-Western online TV stations and the information agencies in recent years. The NGO says that this process should be monitored and they encourage media outlets to publish information about their owners.

"The society needs to know who owns the online media, especially in case of the increasing number of online outlets in recent years that openly express anti-Western sentiments and are engaged in anti-Western propaganda. We demand to increase their accountability to the public, in the first instance, to represent their sources of income and information about the owners, "- said the Transparency International - Georgia project coordinator Nino Robakidze.

Media experts also talk about the obligations of the state. According to Tamar Kintsurashvili, a chairperson of Media Development Foundation, the state is obliged not to sign contracts with the media that promotes hatred.
