Employees of Tbilisi Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, as a result of operational measures and investigative actions, arrested 4 people for premeditated murder and failure to report a particularly serious crime in connection with the murder case in Tbilisi.

The following persons are detained for failure to report a particularly serious crime: I.B. (DoB 1993), G.B. (DoB 1987), J.F. (DoB 1988) and D.M. (DoB 1987).

The committed crime envisions up to 20 years or life imprisonment.

The investigation established that on October 20 of the current year, in Tbilisi, the accused person, being under the influence of alcohol, fired several shots from a firearm in the direction of T.F. (DoB 1997), as a result of received injuries T.F. died on the spot, and I.B. was wounded in the response fire, who is hospitalized, where he is receiving appropriate medical care.

The investigation also established that the accused’s friends - G.B., J.F. and D.M., although they knew about the crime, failed to report the crime to the law enforcement agency.

The investigation is being conducted under Articles 109 and 376 of the Criminal Code of Georgia, which refers to premeditated murder committed under aggravating circumstances and failure to report a particularly serious crime.
