The opposition members of the Central Election Commission demand the immediate holding of the session of the CEC Commission and the holding of re-elections.
“Ten days have passed since the election, and during these 10 days, involved parties, non-governmental organizations, and most importantly, Georgian voters protested the violation of the main principle of the Constitution - secrecy. This was once again confirmed yesterday by the Court.
We, the opposition members of the CEC, demand that the Chairman of the CEC, Giorgi Kalandarishvili, urgently convene a session of the commission, where the elections will be declared not held and we demand that re-elections be held”, - said David Kirtadze, representative of the Unity - National Movement in CEC.
