Tbilisi City Hall, in collaboration with the Georgian Football Federation, will host a public screening of the Georgia-Ukraine football match on a large screen at First Republic Square on Saturday, November 16.
Because of the event, traffic restrictions will be enforced in the surrounding area. From 15:00 on November 15, until 02:00 on November 17, vehicular traffic will be prohibited on the section stretching from the intersection of Rustaveli Avenue and First Republic Square to the intersection of Republic Square and Merab Kostava Street.
Vehicles driving from Rustaveli Avenue towards Kostava Street will be redirected back to Rustaveli Avenue after turning at the Olive Tree.
Alternatively, they may continue towards Mikheil Javakhishvili and Merab Kostava Streets. Traffic along Javakhishvili Street will be directed towards the Tbilisi State Concert Hall, while vehicles coming from Kostava Street will proceed towards Rustaveli Avenue and Liberty Square, with an option to return to Kostava Street after turning at the Olive Tree.
Public transport will also be affected, with the N359 bus route heading towards Vake detouring from Javakhishvili Street via Kostava Street before resuming its regular path.
Additionally, the N457 minibus route to Besiki Street will divert from Javakhishvili Street to Revaz Tabukashvili Street, then continue to Rustaveli Avenue via Revaz Lagidze Street before returning to its standard route.
