Lawyer Eka Beselia came to the General Prosecutor’s Office for questioning on the case of possible falsification of parliamentary elections.

“I was offered [to be interviewed] either at the Prosecutor’s Office or with a Magistrate Judge, but I very deliberately chose here, [to come] directly to the investigating body and directly to the people who are conducting the investigation in connection with the forgery case.

As a lawyer, I believe that sharing this information is in the interests of all those who want these facts to be presented to the investigative body. That is why I will gladly do it, because I consider it to be, among other things, my obligation.

There are several facts, among them there are violations of election procedures on Election Day, depending on the districts and time. It concerns the use of various methods, “carousels”, use of ID cards, violation of the rule of secrecy, violation of the general rule, etc.”, - said Eka Beselia.
